The problem with seduction is that in its core it contains, if not deception, at least a non-truth. Seduction can only be effective as a cynical process.

Is the seduction cynical if the seductive force is not selfishness? Can a person be seduced, for example, by a singular outstanding act of compassion? If so, how can you say all seduction involves half-truth?
