Robin Hood Above

The artist going by the name of Above made this stencil in Lisbon. (I actually know the lady sitting on the right - she is one of Lisbon's classic characters). In a gesture the artist herhimself admits robinwoodesque, Above is selling prints of this picture and will give all the profits to two charities she has previously selected. More info here.

Thanks Anonymous! I judged the book on (the site's) cover... and stand corrected.
Duke, thanks for the comment. I disagree. It is somewhat like saying Monet had a copyright on impressionism or Dali on surrealism. (Independent of the specific role we give Banksy in street art).
There are many street artists who work with stencils, masked figures and humor. A lot of them address social issues. And they have been doing that before Banksy became a superstar. Check out the Wooster Collective site to discover how rich this universe is.
Yes, this does remind me of Banksy. I don't mind, if it's good, and makes me...go places.
Curiously enough, Above is known in the street art world mainly for his work with arrows - a style/theme/aesthetics/technique that is very distant from the stuff Banksy became popular for.
