This work seems to have a lot in common with Georges Rousse. What happens when such a strategy shifts from Rousse's geometric and easthetic-focused work to this more bodily work?
Such interesting concept! I loved the man and woman photo and how the color connects theme, as well as the portrait of the man surrounded by total blackness, so classical and in the same time - fresh interpretation of old masters
The week was great, very intensive, excellent atmosphere and hard, fun work. Just as it should be. As for the this post: theo - you know, I completely forgot about Georges Rousse, thanks for reminding me of him. Yes, the play with space and bi-deminsionality is present in these particular works (especially the first and last, obviously). But then, the play with bodies seems so much... closer, more... touching (pardon the pun).

I don't understand how the middle photo is a joining of two bodies can someone explain it to me ?
hey snowygirl - sure, it's quite simple. your body is not the only body around. other bodies are bodies as well, be them human or other, no?
